The Yoga Common - Studio Etiquette and a Few Friendly Updates

WELCOME

Our studio is a place to move, breathe, laugh, reset, and connect. As our community continues to grow, we want to share a few gentle reminders and updates that help keep the space feeling grounded, welcoming, and supportive for everyone who walks through the door.

First and foremost: we’re so glad you’re here! Whether you’re a regular or brand new to yoga, this space is yours. The energy of the room is shaped by all of us, and a few shared practices help keep that energy calm, joyful, and intentional.

PRESENCE

Arriving on time helps set the tone for the entire class. Beginning practice together allows the room to settle and supports a calm, focused experience for everyone. To maintain that flow, studio doors will now close five minutes after the scheduled start time, and late entry will not be permitted after that point.

Once you’re inside, we invite you to treat the studio as a screen-free sanctuary. Phones, smartwatches, and other devices should stay outside the practice room. This small pause from technology helps us all stay present and protects the peaceful, focused environment we’re creating together.

COMMUNITY

Yoga is meant to be shared. Bring a friend, invite a guest, try something new, and don’t forget to have fun along the way. Joy, curiosity, and laughter are always welcome here.

We also encourage you to connect beyond the practice itself. Say hello before class, stay for a moment afterward, and get to know the people you’re flowing alongside. Some of the most meaningful moments happen in these small connections.

Thank you for being part of this community and for helping us keep the studio a warm, respectful, and uplifting space. We can’t wait to see you soon—right on time, fully present, and ready to flow!
